This month, we’ve circled the globe adding stylish hotels to our hand-picked collection. First, we escaped to Thailand, falling for Anantara Rasananda (above) – a blissful Koh Phangan beach retreat – and then for 137 Pillars House, a stylish heritage stay in Chiang Mai. As we continued our travels in Asia, we were wowed by swish Hong Kong sanctuary The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Siem Reap designer den Shinta Mani, and a chilled-out resort near Angkor Wat named Navutu Dreams Resort & Spa (below).
Over in Europe, we did some top-class people-watching on the Passeig de Gràcia from our base at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, a luxe hideaway in the cool Catalan capital. Then, we took the waters at Vidago Palace – an opulent Portuguese manor fit for royalty in a spa village near the country’s northern border. After that, we were off to France, where we tucked in to some marvellous meals at Hostellerie de l’Abbaye de la Celle, a gourmet getaway in Provence.
Stateside, we found high-roller heaven at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, then sipped mojitos by the pool at the very glam King & Grove Tides Hotel (right) in Miami. After all that partying, it was time to relax… and we found the ideal places: the Olive Boutique Hotel (an intimate idyll in beautiful Puerto Rico) was the first to catch our eye, followed by the charming coastal cottages of the Inn at English Harbour in Antigua.
